What are the benefits of Aikido training?

Is Aikido suitable for children?

Yes, Aikido is suitable for children of all ages. Training in Aikido encourages discipline, self-control, respect, and focus, while helping children develop physical coordination, balance, and confidence.

We are unwaveringly passionate about Safeguarding and so any class teaching under 18s or Adults at Risk are required to have current Safeguarding Certification and DBS Checks for all lead instructors.

How often should I attend Aikido classes?

The frequency of attending Aikido classes depends on your goals and schedule. For optimal progress, we recommend attending classes at least two to three times a week. However, we offer flexible schedules to fit different commitments.

Do I need any prior experience to join Aikido classes?

No prior experience is usually needed. Everyone is welcome. Progress at your own pace.
